Ethan's Fourth!

We celebrated Ethan's birthday by having cupcakes at the park with his preschool friends and having a party at home with the dinner of his choice. He was pleased with his cake being "berry blue" with star wars characters on top. He is a joyful little four year old boy who continues to make us smile everyday.

Mother's Day

Daddy always makes Mother's Day very special by starting the day off with the traditional crepes with whipped cream and strawberries in bed. This year was special being able to eat breakfast in bed with Nana. We both had a great time listening to the chaos in the kitchen while we waited. Being a Mother is sure a beautiful gift that I will always cherish!

Rock climbing is becoming one of our favorite activities do do as a family. We have found that little Ethan is a natural and can climb better than his Mama. He had fun practicing on every boulder that was in our path. We had fun spending time with Papa and Uncle Scotty at Castlewood Canyon while in Colorado for the weekend. Nana was a good sport to stay home with Richard, who would have never survived the trip.

Richard's First Birthday

When handing food to Richard, he will not just take one with his finger tips, but grab the entire handful and stuff it into his tiny mouth. Thus we felt that a Cookie Monster birthday cake was appropriate. We had fun singing to him and watching him smile as he knew that all attention was on him. Annie and Ethan had a great time blowing out his candle. Oh how we love this cute little guy!

A Vistit for Nana and Papa

What fun it was to have Nana and Papa come for Easter. We spent a morning at the Zoo, went on the tram up the mountain and celebrated Mom and Dad's wedding anniversary with a yummy carrot cake. We always love it when our Grandparents come to visit and we always have a day of the "blues" when they leave.

Lost Tooth!

Annie lost her first tooth at the end of April. She was so happy to wake up in the morning to find that the tooth fairy had brought her a new little tooth pillow with a dollar in it.

Lookin' Sharp!

It was great to be able to spend some time with Grandma and Grandpa. Even though it was a quick weekend trip, we had a lot of fun spending time together shopping and playing with the kids. We always look pretty spiffy after Grandma and Grandpa leave.

Wicked!

We finally were able to go see Wicked! We have been listening to the songs from Wicked ever since Annie was a baby and we have every song practically memorized. It was great to be able to put the story together from the puzzle pieces we had from the soundtrack. It was everything we hoped it would be and we had a fantastic time!
