Enjoying the Fall

Taking a trip up to the mountains near Santa Fe is becoming a tradition for us every fall. The autumn leaves are breathtaking! What a fun time we had together after having our Daddy gone for so long.

BYU-I had a symphony reunion. The invited alumni joined the current students for a concert that was put together in a day. We played Tchaikovsky symphony no. 1 and Brahms Festival Overture, which he evidently composed for a reunion. It was so great to be a part of such a big beautiful sound, not to mention being surrounded by so many wonderful people!

What a great time we had! It was so nice to get away and have some time to talk and enjoy nature. It's always amazing to think of all the symbolism there is in climbing a mountain. We hiked to the side of two different streams and saw numerous waterfalls, which were amazingly beautiful. We look forward to the time where we can take our children along and summit a mountain as a family.

Celebrating Daddy's Birthday is always a great occasion as we whip out the red, white and blue. Grandma and Grandpa were able to come this year and take care of our kids while we took a backpacking trip with just the two of us. They made this years birthday a special one!

Spending Some Time With Grandma

This Summer we spent a couple of weeks in Utah spending time our family. We had a great time playing with cousins and being with grandparents. We were able to go to "This is the Place" park, to the movie "17 miracles" and "Cars 2". Grandpa taught the kids to play the trumpet and Richard learned to climb stairs. We had a grand time.
